Sentiment (mood) refers to the overall amount of positivity or negativity being expressed in conversation bout a given stock over a given time period. If stock has much more positive conversation than negative conversation, its sentiment is considered "bullish", and vice-versa is "bearish". More details on how exactly sentiment is calculated here
