How is sector-level sentiment calculated?
Sector sentiment is the composite news sentiment across all stocks within the given sector. For example, Health Care sentiment is the composite sentiment expressed about any stock in the Health care sector average over a given period, weighted by market cap.
What does the sector heatmap show?
The sector heatmap shows both the news mention volume and sentiment of all sectors over the past 7-days. The size of a sector's square signifies its mention volume, and the color signifies its average composite news sentiment over the period.
